ABOUT Annex General Contracting & Design began in 1992 when Mr. Kevin Evans started the company in the Albuquerque area. The company's focus in the beginning was primarily as a subcontractor in the metal stud framing, drywall, finish carpentry and tile trades... working on large scale commercial projects as well as high end custom homes in Santa Fe. In 1998 Kevin came to the conclusion that the company had grown sufficiently to alter its primary target market segment from the subcontractor construction segment to the higher margin Design/Build remodeling and restoration construction segment. The company has had great success with this transition through Kevin's thoughtful design work, quality craftsmanship, long standing relationships with local suppliers, architects and real estate professionals. Annex has been a proud member of the NM Home Builders Association, The Remodeler's Council and Build Green NM programs...The firm has won awards and Kevin has earned professional designations CGR (Certified Graduate Remodeler) & CGB (Certified Green Builder) through NAHB continuing educational programs. Evans has had one of his projects featured on the television show "Renovation Nation" on the "Planet Green Channel" which aired the summer of 2008. As part of its growth and altered focus on green building and real estate investment strategies, Annex has set it self apart from it's competitors allowing for greater access to investment funds to fuel its growth.
